The Passage is done!
Now to see how it stacks up against the other entrants of the 48 hour game development challenge...
24+ Hours In...
Not much left to do now, and it's looking alright for a speed job. 21 hours left, better get back to work!
The Passage
A 48 Hour competition for Flash Games License. Here we'll post some of our Work that is in Progress.
To see the overall idea for the game check out This Impressive Image giving a run down of how things would work..
Here is some Concept Art for the character.. kinda like Indiana Jones style...
Well, well, well.
Well, "The Adventures of Zomboy" has proven popular with a couple sponsors and will hopefully be finding a home this week. Also, Topsy Turvy 2 has proven popular with a couple sponsors and will hopefully be finding a home this week too! We're working on getting the art for one of our new projects super pretty, and have dropped a project to make sure we can give it our full attention! So yeah, if it's ugly that'll be a fail on our part :P
Still, things are busy as ever here at Arctic Arcade. This week we're also animating and designing a bunch of characters, so yeah. Sleep is for the lazy. :P
Busy little bees buzzing about
Hiya. It's been quite the week! Zomboy is now doing his thing, and we've made good initial progress on a couple new projects. We are in full swing here at Arctic Arcade, currently now working on four projects with two in active bidding... Full steam ahead!
Zomboy is Ready.. for Sponsorship!
Braaaiiinsss! Well guys and gals, we finally made it to the end. Zomboy is finally completed and is now up in front of sponsors. It has been a long, long road, but we are quite happy with what we have produced. We will keep you posted once we have a sponsor and then we'll even give you a link to see what all the fuss is about :) Plus, it will bring to light some of our previous blog posts... So watch this space! We are 'DEAD' excited about this game and we hope that you will enjoy it too!
Almost there!
Well, Zomboy's almost up for developer's viewing pleasure, Topsy Turvy 2 has nearly found a sponsor and Tank Wars (working title) has... Well, not moved at all. We've been getting Zomboy ready for you all!
A casino style game
If you are into Casino style games, and like a bit of puzzle mixed in, you should try out game 'Roll a Die'. It is one of
our self-sponsored games and is free to play, maybe even click an ad, apparently it brings us money (I guess time will tell).
If you enjoy a bit of gambling on the side, maybe also try out Party Poker, they'll even give you some money to start you off.
Not quite indie gaming but a fun multiplayer game to fill in those spare minutes.
Eenie meanie minie mo...
With Zomboy on the way we get to pick a new project soon! We might try and get away from tile-based puzzlers - maybe a physics puzzler? A defense game? Hmm, we have a couple of very interesting ideas already, now to choose which!
Zomboy's coming!
Another week goes by and this one has been (mostly) dedicated to getting Zomboy to an ugly stick figure stage! He's getting there, we're aiming for it to be up on FGL the end of the month and hope it all goes to plan, but so much content to fill out!
Also, Moir's been ported to HTML5, so now that too goes in front of sponsors!
Ah, sequels...
Awesome, Topsy Turvy 2 is now up for bidding! It's taken a long time but we're finally happy with it and sponsors so far seem to really like it, so wish us luck ;)
We've also made a good amount of progress on Zomboy so that will be complete within a week or two should we keep caffeinated enough...
Roll 'a' Die
Here's another game for ya! This one is an isometric Sokoban with a twist, and a little gambling thrown in to suit the casino theme. Hope you like it!
